LiDAR is a very well accepted technology, it is no surprise if your customers are asking this of you. This may involve hand held SLAM or drone based LiDAR. We can help you with both options. For the drone based LiDAR option, you will need the CASA based qualifications. Our rentals can include the various items that you need including a LiDAR system, a drone, software, GNSS gear, training and support.

We have a range of TrueView LiDAR systems on hand for rentals, this includes the TrueView Go, TrueView 515 and TrueView 540. This 'Dry hire' option refers to equipment only, ie no staff.

These rental periods generally start at two weeks, although for second time renters we can consider shorter periods. For short initial rentals, perhaps consider our LiDAR partnering.

To rent our TrueView LiDAR systems you will need adequate CASA qualifications, refer to our FAQ section below. A TrueView Go handheld SLAM rental requires no qualifications.

Our rentals can include everything that you may need. This can include - mission planning software, a Dji Drone, a TrueView payload, LP360 software, GNSS equipment, a CORS license, training and support. We can give you both office and field training beforehand, support during your rental and guidance after.
We can also post process your data for you if this is more desirable.

For experienced pilots, these LiDAR rental options are a great way to enter this business area and to build experience in collecting and delivering LiDAR based data.

RENTAL REQUIREMENTS
In order for you to rent from us certain requirements need to be met. Certainly you will need to have the CASA based requirements in place which allow you legally to fly the drone in question. These requirements are as outlined by the Civil Aviation safety Authority (CASA). To take advantage of our rental program certain requirements must be met.

Your organisation needs to be flying under a valid ‘Reoc’ and the responsible pilot need to hold a current and relevant ‘Repl’.

Insurance covering loss, ‘hull’ insurance, needs to be in place. Our insurance covers the equipment for in transit insurance whilst being freighted within Australia.

Your Certificate of Currency will need to list GeoCue Australia as the interested party and will also need to refer to the equipment type and serial number.
